Piarom Dates are known as the most desirable and most expensive date in the world, with the highest nutritional value. They are exclusively farmed in Southern Iran (Hajiabad, Hormozgan).

Harvesting begins at the start of the intense heat season. Piarom has a beautiful appearance with a thin, dark brown to black color, where the flesh and skin stick perfectly together. It has a low moisture content and is considered semi-dried. As fructose is the predominant sugar, it is easily digestible and quickly metabolized for energy.
